Protein Pancakes for Sustained Energy
This recipe has all the nutrients your child needs for great behavior. Lots of protein, fiber, and omega-3. Good food = Better behavior= Easier parenting!

INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup gluten-free oats
- 1 banana
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup egg whites- from 3 eggs
- 4 teaspoons aluminum-free baking powder
- Pinch of sea salt
- Pinch of cinnamon
- 1 scoop of protein powder- my preferred brand is Garden of Life
- 2 tablespoons ground flaxseeds
DIRECTIONS
- Put all the ingredients into a blender on medium speed and blend until well mixed
- Heat a nonstick griddle to medium heat
- Put ¼ cup batter per pancake on the griddle
- You can sprinkle on a few chocolate chips or blueberries
- When the edges start to look dry, after about 2-3 minutes, flip and cook the other side
- Top with pure maple syrup
