Deceitful Brownie Bites

This recipe could fool anyone! It looks and tastes like a decadent unhealthy chocolate treat, but it is actually healthy! It not only has magnesium from the cocoa but it boats a good dose of protein from the protein powder as well as healthy fats. So, make a big batch and feel like a great mom!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • ¼ cups ground flaxseeds
  • 2 Tablespoons cocoa 
  • 3 Tablespoons chocolate protein powder – I use Garden of Life
  • ⅓ cup almond butter
  • ¼ cup date syrup
  • ¼ cup almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips- Enjoy Life brand
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • Sprinkles- without artificial dyes

DIRECTIONS

  • Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix well
  • Using a cookie scooper, scoop balls into lined mini muffin tins
  • Press down
  • Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil
  • Pour a little bit of chocolate on top of each brownie bite
  • Sprinkle some sprinkles
  • Set in the fridge to harden
